Oh come on, you knew this was going to happen eventually. With the ridiculous success of the Guitar Hero franchise, and equal if not greater popularity of Rock Band, Activision are taking the concept to DJ/club culture.

Little is known about the actual game, what the physical controller even looks like, but we can tell you this: It's coming out on the big three consoles (Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3) and there's going to be mucho DLC (Downloadable Content) for this game. Rumors say the controller has two simplified platters, three buttons for "sampling", and a crossfader in a mixer.

Internet sites also report that the obvious big names like Tiësto and Paul Oakenfold may be on the soundtrack for the game. I'd like to see how some of the harder genres like drum 'n bass stack up on this game. TRY tapping some buttons at 180 BPMs sucker!

So let's hear it folks, are you going to spend $50 or more on this game, or you going to stick to practicing on Ableton and Serato for real gigs?
