Profilic street artist, Banksy, has opened up his first official exhibit in New York City under the guise of a pet shop and grill. It's a pretty cool concept playing off society's tendency to spoil our pets. He says he was inspired after seeing a person walking a dog with a diamond-encrusted collar past a homeless person.

The experience is authentic and realistic, with animatronics employed to bring the shop's animals to life and bear urine sprayed around for that "pet store smell". There are hot dog "pups", chicken nuggets eating from a sauce bin, a monkey watching TV, and more oddities.

The show is free and open to the public at The Village Petstore and Charcoal Grill at West 4th and Bleecker from 10am-12am daily until October 31st.
